New Corporate Partnership: Dream Finders’ “Buy a Home Here, We’ll Build a Home There” Program

Dream Finders Homes is partnering with Bridges to Community and Habitat for Humanity to build homes in four countries as part of their new “Buy a Home Here, We’ll Build a Home There” program. In their new development, The Parkes at Stonebridge in Longmont, Colorado, when the first 30 buyers purchase a Dream Finders townhome, they will also select a village in one of four countries where Dream Finders will provide funding to build another home for someone in need.

Dream Finders Homes has agreed to contribute a minimum of $100,000 to these organizations based on the direction of the buyer of the townhome. Patrick Zalupski, CEO and Founder of Dream Finders Homes, says, “At Dream Finders Homes we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home, so partnering with Habitat and Bridges to Community was an easy decision for us when the opportunity was presented! We are hoping that Dream Finders will be the first of many builders to participate in programs like the 1:1 campaign we are launching in Parkes at Stonebridge. We believe this is an incredible opportunity for us to empower our company, our employees and our home buyers to contribute to the “American Dream” in a significantly impactful way.”

This partnership came about thanks to an idea by Riley Mulshine and Will Pater. Friends for 12 years, Riley and Will have joined home-building trips with Bridges to Nicaragua and Dominican Republic over the past 3 years. “On our trips, we were amazed by how simple and economical it is to build a safe home that makes such an incredible difference to a family. So applying the “buy one give one” model seemed like a great idea. We presented the idea to Dream Finders since they were building a home for the Mulshine family. We were super excited when the Dream Finders CEO contacted us and said let’s make this happen” said Riley Mulshine and Will Pater.

Building a home for a family changes their lives and provides safety and a place to plan for the future,” says Julia Hadlock, Executive Director of Bridges to Community. “We are grateful to Dream Finders, and Longmont residents Riley Mulshine and Will Pater for their commitment to our work. Will and Riley have seen the impact of our work first-hand, volunteering to help build homes with Bridges to Community in Nicaragua. The Buy a Home Here – We’ll Build a Home There program ensures more homes for more families.”
