improvements such as structural repairs, security enhancements, water filtration, and exterior painting, particularly when existing homes are larger than the BTC housing model. In addition, the program addresses critical sanitation needs, as many families lack a private or safe latrine, rely on deteriorated or shared facilities, and face increased health and environmental risks.
