Marcia Lorena
I am Marica Lorena Miranda Aguilera from Managua Nicaragua. I graduated two years ago from the American University with a degree in Diplomacy and International Relations. During my time in collage I discovered how wonderful service work is first through being a volunteer with a local fundraiser in Nicaragua then by becoming involved in a student organization called Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) and finally by working as an International Volunteer Coordinator with Bridges to Community. My work with Bridges is inspired by my great love for community work and development. Working with Bridges has been one of the most exciting and beautiful experiences in my life. During this last month I have gotten to know incredible people, empowered communities and people who are committed to bettering their communities. And this experience has been made all the more incredible by sharing it with my co-workers. They have provided me with the necessary guidance and inspiration to do my job with pride
